What started as a love for doing my own nails eventually became something I wanted to share with others—and Bernie’s Barking Nails was born.

I’ve always loved having a creative outlet. There’s something incredibly satisfying about starting with a blank nail and turning it into something completely unique, whether that means the perfect solid color, a little sparkle and dimension, or a tiny work of art.

Eventually, I started thinking: Why keep all the fun to myself?

So, I took something I genuinely enjoy and turned it into a little side hustle where I get to create beautiful, reusable nail sets for other people—without losing the fun and creativity that made me fall in love with nail art in the first place.

So... What’s With All the Barking? 🐾

When I’m not painting tiny canvases, there’s a very good chance I’m spending time with my dogs.

I’m a proud dog mom, and that part of my life inevitably finds its way into just about everything I do. So when it came time to give this little venture a name and personality of its own, Bernie’s Barking Nails just felt right.

The dogs may not be doing the painting—but I can’t guarantee they aren’t providing some creative supervision behind the scenes.

More Than Pretty Nails

For me, this is about more than selling press-ons.

I love the idea that something I create at my nail desk can arrive at someone else’s door and become a little piece of their personality. Maybe your nails are bold and over-the-top.
